Title Research: Art of the Title Website
This website is exactly what the name promises: The Art of a Title. In the picture above, I was looking through numerous title sequences to see if I could recognize them. Of course, I recognized Shazam, The Lego Movie 2, Spiderman into the Spider-verse, and more. This may not come as a shock, but I was able to recognize these titles BEFORE reading them. This is because of the tremendous amount of work these animators and illustrators put into each title. Titles are meant to be a visual representation of the movie or show you are watching. Just like companies have logos, films have titles! The website is sorted into different categories depending on who the animator or team that created the titles. I found that I could click on "Title Sequence" in general, and it would display every title. If I clicked on a specific name, it would give me a description of this designer, the titles that he/she created, and a summary of these titles. This website really allowed me to study the actual art as well as the description that went into thousands of titles !
